Privacy notice

Last updated 15 October 2026

Cart Culture uses the information you share to arrange your consultation, prepare your proposal and manage your project. For privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests, email hello@cartculture.in.

What we collect and why

Please do not put passwords, payment-card details, government ID documents or sensitive personal information in booking details or project notes. We arrange any necessary account access separately.

Who processes this information

Records are held in our private booking system. When connected, our email provider processes confirmation, proposal and project messages; Google Calendar receives appointment details and invitations, and Google Meet may generate a meeting link. Google Sheets holds a private client register, including contact information, meeting details, proposal summaries and status notes. Our hosting provider processes website requests and stores the records needed to run the service. These providers may process data outside your country under their own terms.

Booking records, private proposals and internal notes are not published on the website. We do not sell booking information or use this form to sign you up to a marketing newsletter. Public portfolio work should only contain content approved for publication.

Messages about your enquiry

We send confirmations and necessary appointment changes. After a meeting we may send the proposal you discussed; project acceptance or closure may generate a related follow-up. You can reply or email us to request no further optional follow-up. We may still need to send essential messages about an active booking, contract or legal obligation.

Cookies and external resources

The site remembers your selected theme in your browser. The private admin area uses a session cookie and session storage. We currently use no advertising pixels or analytics scripts. The website fonts are hosted with the site, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts to load them. See our cookie and browser-storage notice.

Keeping and deleting records

We keep records while needed for your enquiry, booking, project and applicable accounting, legal or dispute obligations. Unneeded records should be removed during our records review. Deletion is handled by the studio, rather than occurring automatically when a meeting is cancelled. Where a record must be retained, we will explain why when responding to your request.

To request a summary of your personal data and its use, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or review of a privacy concern, email hello@cartculture.in from the booking address and include your reference if available. You can also contact us about nominating someone to exercise the applicable rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity. Your email should say what you want us to do; do not send government identity documents unless we explain why proportionate verification is necessary. We may ask for proportionate verification before sharing or changing a record. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot continue an appointment or enquiry. We will explain any information we must retain. Our published grievance-response period is within 90 days of receipt, and we aim to acknowledge requests within 7 days and handle straightforward requests sooner. A shorter applicable legal deadline takes priority. If a concern is unresolved, ask for a review by the studio owner. Where the applicable DPDP provisions are in force, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India after exhausting our grievance process; use its official channel then available. We do not charge for withdrawing consent. Essential processing supported by another applicable lawful ground may continue, and we will explain it.

Deletion may involve our booking system, saved proposals, email records, Google Calendar and Google Sheets. Backup copies and provider retention are handled separately; messages already delivered to another person's inbox cannot be recalled. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.

Protecting your information

We restrict access to bookings, private proposals and credentials to authorised people and service providers. Provider connections use encryption in transit, and our launch procedure includes protected storage, backups and access checks. If an incident affects your information, we assess it, take containment steps and make the notifications required by applicable law. We cannot promise that any internet service is immune from breaches.

Who this service is for

Our booking service is intended for adults aged 18 or over arranging business services. We do not knowingly collect children's data through this form. Contact us if a child has submitted information so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Updates and contact

We update this notice when our services or data practices change. Contact Cart Culture at hello@cartculture.in for privacy requests, complaints or help using the website.
